While getting ready to walk out the back door, I was surprised when, on our fence, I saw a Cooper's Hawk having his breakfast!

Today for our second anniversary, we went for a lovely autumn walk at the Rocky River Reservation.

We saw a couple of mallards 

A red-bellied woodpecker

We saw (and heard!) a huge flock of European Starling

A Canada goose

A beautiful fall evening on the lagoon

A white-breasted nuthatch

While walking on the trail, we happened upon two male white-tailed deer fighting!

September 4, 2016 - Brecksville Reservation

We ventured out to Brecksville Reservation for Labor Day Weekend birding.

Fun at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
