On September 24, we visited Sandy Ridge Reservation in North Ridgeville, OH. 

A great blue heron

We saw a couple of sandhill cranes

We also caught a close-up sighting of the flock of trumpeter swans

An egret in the water

A painted turtle enjoying the sunshine

A lone cormorant

We caught an interesting viewing of this kingfisher enjoying his lunch

A sandpiper

A pair of grebes

Right as we were leaving, we saw this juvenile bald eagle flying around its nest

 Today we visited Sandy Ridge Reservation. Lots of excellent sights, especially water fowl!
